Let’s begin at the reference to wrath which John the Baptist spoke of:

John’s answer was interesting regarding what “Requirements” and “Repentance” were. Remember, John’s responsibility is to “Prepare” so he is providing “Preparation” guidance to all of them but deals with the wrath coming for Pharisees, Sadducees, and Publicans according to their traditions.
For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, “Prepare” ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. Remember when the Pharisees asked John about what they should do while coming to see him in the wilderness?

So here we can see how Jesus acknowledges the father’s will.

In conclusion:
As we circle back to those who came out to see John the Baptist in the wilderness and asked him questions, we see the “requirements” regarding tradition of men based on Mosaic Law was the problem. These requirements continue in the traditional church in those whom Christ is trying to reach. Let’s pray this very day..regarding his kingdom which is to come..so that our father’s will be done..on earth..as it is in heaven!
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but his will which hath sent me. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me, I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
